One vaccine dose 'not enough': Aged care worker and resident test positive despite first jab
Labor MP Bill Shorten says one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is inadequate after a resident and a worker at an aged care facility tested positive despite having their first jab. He said the cases at Arcare Maidstone aged care home were a “serious development”. “I understand that both the worker and the resident that tested positive have had one dose of the vaccine. This is why everyone needs to have two vaccines.” He said the Morrison government’s talk of singular doses was “dangerous”.
