No policy change expected in RBA's cash rate decision
The Reserve Bank of Australia’s cash rate decision is expected later today but there will be no policy change, according to Sky News Business Reporter Ed Boyd. Reserve Bank Governor Phillip Lowe said in a statement last month it would be very unlikely the cash rate would rise from the record low of 0.1 per cent until 2024 at the earliest. Inflation is expected to be between 2 per cent and 3 per cent per annum by 2024 but it is currently sitting around 1.1 per cent.
