Priority vaccine access will allow Olympic athletes to focus on the Games: Carroll
Australian Olympic Committee CEO Matt Carroll has expressed his gratitude to the Morrison government after a decision to prioritise vaccinations for athletes and staff ahead of the Tokyo Games in July. “It’s just one thing off their minds which allows them to continue their preparations for the Games with full confidence that their health and welfare is looked after,” he said. Mr Carroll noted the vaccination process will be started next week and there will be no extra load placed on the public system.
