America 'in competition' to win 21st century
President Joe Biden says America has to do more than just build back better, adding it must win the 21st century. Mr Biden made his first address to a joint session of Congress where he spent 30 years as a US Senator, and delivered a message of hope. “We have to compete more strenuously than we have,” Mr Biden said. “The International Monetary Fund is now estimating our economy will grow at a rate of more than 6% this year. It will be the fastest pace of economic growth in this country nearly four decades. “America is moving, moving forward. We can't stop now. We are in competition with China and other countries to win the 21st century.”
