Labor Party conference expected to see fight on key policy issues
There is expected to be a fight on key policy issues at the Labor National Conference over the coming days as 400 delegates battle over amendments put to the national executive. The policy platform agreed upon at the National Conference will be taken to the next election, and will be the anchor of a future Labor government. Over 250 policy amendments were put forward to the party’s national executive, as delegates are expected to fight over trade and the role of gas in Australia’s energy grid.
