Two-thirds of workers allowed to return to Melbourne offices
Melbourne’s CBD is beginning its return to normality with 75 per cent of the workforce permitted to return to the office from today – marking the highest number of people allowed to resume on-site work since the beginning of the pandemic. Victoria recorded another day of zero new local COVID-19 cases today as the vaccine rollout continues slowly but steadily. The airport vaccination hub saw about a thousand frontline workers – including air-aligned staffers and border force officers – vaccinated. The Pfizer jab was also transported to some regional towns, with Bendigo receiving its first doses this morning.
