Republicans are looking to block President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill, citing concerns the package is too large. Mr Biden is seeking bipartisan support for the measure however House Speaker Nancy Pelosi flagged they would use the reconciliation process to push the bill through quickly if necessary. “I hope we don’t need it but if needed we will have it,” she said.
