Republicans have been angered by the Democrats’ go-it-alone way of governing so far which has seen President Joe Biden sign 40 executive orders and actions in his first 10 days in office. "They're trying to … jam through a radical agenda without public support … this is dangerous stuff,” Republican Senator Josh Hawley said. President Joe Biden and the White House wants Congress to pass his $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill, but Republicans have offered to break up the massive bill into smaller pieces of legislation to be passed over time. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the Senate will begin considering a COVID-19 relief bill as early as next week, with or without Republicans.
