Airports ask for government support as travel bans remain
Airports are crying out for support as international travel bans and interstate border closures decimate the industry. The government wants them to stand on their own but airports say their costs haven't changed even though air traffic has fallen. Australian Airports Association chief executive James Goodwin says while the subsidies have helped there has been little support.
