UK will get 'some very good news' regarding vaccine
The United Kingdom is expected to approve the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine for domestic use within days with 100 million doses already secured. Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen told Sky News, Britons should expect "some very good news" as the government will approve the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. The UK has already begun vaccinating its citizens with 10 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine, but the American-made vaccine must be kept in well-below freezing temperatures and requires two doses for effectiveness. The Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine has also been secured for domestic use and domestic production in Australia with frontline workers expecting the jab in March.
