NT declares new Sydney COVID-19 hotspots
The Northern Territory has expanded Sydney's COVID-19 hotspot list as the city's cluster grows. From today, the suburbs of Croydon, Croydon Park, Lilli Pilli, Strathfield, Strathfield North, Strathfield South, and Sutherland will be added to the NT hotspot list. These are in addition to existing hotspots in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Anyone who has travelled from those hotspots since Christmas Day is being instructed to self-isolate and get tested. The Top-End's acting chief minister warned a police presence would be increased over the New Year's period, encouraging Territorians to celebrate safely.
