COVID-19 traces detected in North Sydney sewage
Traces of the coronavirus have been detected in sewage plants in Sydney’s north – neighbouring the site of the Northern Beaches cluster. Hornsby, Cowan and Asquith are among the affected suburbs, with fragments of the virus also found in Warriewood, Hornsby Heights and Brooklyn catchments. Authorities said the detection was a timely reminder to get tested.
