Statue vandals have ‘not calmed down’ despite election result
Sky News host Rowan Dean says there has been even more “destruction and vandalism” over thanksgiving as part of the ‘land back movement’ despite Joe Biden winning the election. “Biden won, you would have thought they would have calmed down; No, here we go more destruction and vandalism of statues over thanksgiving,” Mr Dean said. The Thanksgiving holiday this year was marred by multiple incidences of vandalism from those supporting the ‘land back movement’ in support of the plight of Indigenous Americans. “This whole movement - the land back movement – is all about saying Indigenous – i.e. Indian Americans – own the land, and everyone else doesn’t belong there,” Mr Dean said. “But they are violent, they are extremist, and they’ve gone straight on the attack.”
