Kylie Moore-Gilbert to quarantine in Australia after being released from Iranian prison
Rescued academic Kylie Moore-Gilbert has celebrated her freedom in the Australian way with a Tim Tam and "the best cup of coffee in two years". Kylie Moore-Gilbert, a 33-year-old lecturer from Melbourne, was arrested on espionage charges in 2018 when trying to leave Iran after attending an academic conference. A source revealed she enjoyed the treat on her flight back to Australia from Iran where she was imprisoned for two years. The 33-year-old appeared in good health after spending most of her time in solitary confinement in a Tehran prison. Dr Moore-Gilbert is now completing her two weeks quarantine.
