Joe Biden's ‘appeasement’ approach doesn’t bode well for US foreign policy
Rowan Dean says as the incoming Biden administration prepares to implement an ultra-progressive political agenda from the Oval Office, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has reminded the American people of the successes under President Trump. Mr Dean said the secretary of state only “scratched the surface” of what the Trump administration had achieved, listing peace deals between Israel and Arab states, and the American-North Korean relationship as just some of the top foreign policy victories. Columnist Melanie Philip wrote, "a Biden administration will be one of appeasement based on the belief that western power is illegitimate and should not be exercised." Mr Dean said his main fear for the United States was Joe Biden would “simply surrender to the many malign forces swirling around”. “Already, he has appointed someone to his team who disgustingly supports Palestinian suicide bombers," he said. Mr Dean said in contrast “Donald Trump genuinely fights for the values and security and prosperity of the west and against the insidious cultural Marxism of the modern left”.
