Trump takes aim at big tech and the media over strategic 'suppression'
President Trump lashed out at “suppressive activities” undertaken by big tech companies and the media during a speech to a large crowd of supporters in Arizona. Hosting a rally in Bullhead City Arizona, the president argued the United States doesn’t have “freedom of the press” but instead has a situation in which “suppression of the press” has become commonplace. He accused Democratic nominee Joe Biden of engaging in corrupt deals, alluding to a story released by the New York Post detailing links between Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden and a Ukrainian energy company. The president accused the mainstream press of failing to cover the “Biden story”. “The whole thing is a con job,” he said. “They have a corrupt party. “All this work being done by big tech and being done by the media, that should be considered a massive million-dollar campaign contribution.”
