Palaszczuk says 'everyone is against her' as she urges Qld to choose 'stability or chaos'
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has urged Queensland voters to think hard about their choice in the upcoming election, drawing a comparison between her coronavirus response and what the LNP would have offered. “For me, what you see is what you get, I will always stand up for what is right in this state, I will always stand up for families, every single day and I will always take the advice of the chief health officer,” she said. “Now people can try and play politics with this, but it is no laughing matter. “I will not be lectured to by the premier of New South Wales on what is right for Queensland. “Apparently the premier of New South Wales said today that she is in regular contact with Deb Frecklington and that Deb Frecklington would have opened up the borders. “Now we know what would have happened if the borders would have been opened up, we would have been in a situation like Victoria.” Ms Palaszczuk said it was clear the election would be a close race as voters were fronted with an important choice. “I’m asking Queenslanders to think very clearly about the choice, jobs or cuts, stability or chaos,” she said. “Basically I’ve got everyone up against me.”
