Crowds of more than 6,000 expected for Golden Eagle
Crowds of more than 6,000 people will be permitted to attend Rosehill Racecourse in Sydney's west ahead of the Golden Eagle race. COO of Racing NSW Graeme Hinton said there were crickets on Golden Slipper day but the course "will be humming" in the Eagle's second year. "Don't ask me for a tip today. I went through the book and anyone in that race can win today," he said. "They're all tipping different winners and there are some tipping $20-$30 shots to win because it really is that open."
