A report published by the Air Transport Action Group says 46 million jobs in the aviation industry could be wiped out worldwide due to coronavirus-induced shut downs. The report indicated economic activity support by aviation could shrink by 52 per cent, a loss of more than $2.5 trillion. Experts believed airline travel will not fully recover until 2024.
