Premier Daniel Andrews says a Victorian who tests positive to the coronavirus does not need to fear receiving a fine for breaking restrictions if they tell the truth. “Their positive diagnosis and their story about who they’ve been in contact with is worth infinitely more than $5000,” he said. “We are not going to make any decisions that would make it less likely that people gave us the full and complete story.” Mr Andrews said the “real treasure” for Victoria was finding out where a positive case had been and who they had been with.
