Biden and Trump trade barbs over intelligence and honesty
Democratic nominee Joe Biden and President Trump have traded barbs over intelligence levels with Donald Trump accusing his counterpart of graduating “the lowest or the next lowest” from University. Mr Biden accused the President of lying to the public about the coronavirus saying “a lot of people died and a lot more are going to die unless he gets a lot smarter”. Mr Trump promptly hit back at Mr Biden and said, “Did you use the word smart? You graduated either the lowest or the next lowest in your class. Don't ever use the word smart with me”. Talking about the potential for distributing a viable coronavirus vaccine quickly, Joe Biden said “health experts will be muzzled and suppressed” by the Trump administration. “Every serious company is talking about maybe having a vaccine done by the end of the year, but the distribution of that vaccine will not occur until some time at the beginning of the middle of next year”. Conversely, Trump argued the vaccine would be out much earlier saying “it’s a possibility we'll have the answer before November 1”. “We will deliver it right away. We have the military set up. Logistically they're set up,” he said.
