Tony Abbott has been appointed as a trade envoy for the United Kingdom as Boris Johnson pushes forward with a post-Brexit Britain. Mr Abbott was reportedly given an advisory position on the Board of Trade and was tasked with boosting economic growth. Ms Panahi said the wealth of experience, knowledge and passion which the former prime minister could have offered in service to Australia, had now been lost to the United Kingdom.
