Biden out campaigning 'increases potential' for gaffes
Sky News US contributor Cameron Stewart says Republicans are happy Joe Biden will be out physically campaigning because they think it will increase the potential for gaffes. Mr Biden, the Democratic nominee for president, will head out to battleground states in an attempt to halt the momentum behind President Donald Trump. “That makes things less scripted than they’d normally be,” Mr Stewart said. “He’s going to have to take questions from the press. Joe Biden has absolutely hidden from the press - Trump has been far more open and transparent on that front. “So Biden’s got to do all these things that increase the risk and he falls over his tongue a lot.”
