Aged care minister claims he has PM's full support
Aged Care Minister Richard Colbeck is insisting he maintains the full support of the Prime Minister and denies he was sidelined from parts of his portfolio amid heavy backlash over his handling of the coronavirus pandemic in aged care. Health Minister Greg Hunt took over answering questions directed toward Senator Colbeck at a press conference where the troubled aged care sector was a major focus. Scott Morrison defended Mr Colbeck after Labor questioned why he still held the position as aged care minister, saying Mr Colbeck was able to funnel enormous amounts of funding to the aged care sector during the pandemic.
