Greater Sydney to be banned from Queensland
All Greater Sydney residents will be banned from entering Queensland from 1am on Saturday. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the decision on Wednesday as she added Greater Sydney - encompassing 34 local government areas - to the list of declared coronavirus hotspots. Another 19 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in New South Wales on Wednesday after a cluster emerged in Sydney's east.
