America to record 230,000 coronavirus deaths by November
Latest coronavirus modelling in America has predicted the country could see 230,000 deaths incurred from the disease by November. Modelling from the University of Washington released the grim figure, which is higher than the originally projected estimate of 219,864 deaths by November 1. Florida, Arizona and Mississippi are being particularly hard hit by the virus and have seen record one-day increases from the disease. Despite the rise in fatalities, new infections across the country are declining, with the seven-day average dropping by almost 2000 cases in one-week. Public health officials have attributed the decline in numbers to more mask wearing and strict social distancing. Image: AP
