COVIDSafe app Australia's best 'weapon' against coroanvirus
Employment Minister Michaelia Cash says COVIDSafe will remain voluntary but implores Australians to download the app, arguing it is the best “weapon” against further spread of the virus. “The prime minister has made it clear the app will not be mandatory, but if you want to go back to your pub, if you want to go and get that massage, if you want to undertake your pilates lesson, if you want to sit down at a restaurant with your family, I would really encourage you download COVIDSafe,” she told Sky News. “It is a great weapon to stop the spread of the virus and get us back to normal sooner rather than later.”
